Soil density

Soil density (= bulk density) is measured with an acoustic SED sensor. Soil density has a strong influence on both soil erosion and the ecological development of the soil. However, there is little information on how soil density develops over time at restoration sites and how this is related to short-term (daily) sediment dynamics.
