Why explicating worldviews (this applies to stakeholders, but to Facilitators of Change as well)

  • There can be unclarity, tension, conflict, misunderstanding, (mis)interpretation, exclusion, insecurity, forcing, criticizing, blaming
  • What to explicate / identify: Worldviews, boundary judgements, blind spots: assumptions, beliefs, needs, expectations, values, interests, interpretations, observations, motives, (opposing) perspectives, allergies, intentions
  • Solutions / approaches: Systems thinking, joint learning, explication, connection, co-creation, nature: participation (‘for you and with/by you’), postponing judgements, forming a coalition of the willing, community of learners, Dialoog en verbinden (Door middel van dialoog en wederzijds begrip over perspectieven van stakeholders (grensoordelen, d.w.z. aannames, overtuigingen, voorwaarden).)
