Our Studio is not only occupied with coaching and guiding students doing a minor, a traineeship or graduation assignment but we are also involved in hosting and organizing the NRG project week. A week only organized once every schoolyear in which all students from the HZ are welcome to join and participate in a week filled with fun and work!
==== Why join the NRG project week? ====
Not only to earn 1,25 HZP credits in only one week, but also because it is great chance to broaden your horizon!
The NRG Project Week is an exciting and enriching interdisciplinary initiative designed for students to engage in meaningful, real-world problem-solving. Centered around themes of '''Broad Prosperity''', this project week provides an opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of peers, including students from different study programs, academic years, and nationalities.
During the NRG Project Week, students will work in small teams of up to five members to tackle a complex issue presented by a real-life client. By employing the principles of Design Thinking and practical application, each team will develop innovative solutions to address their assigned topic. Throughout this process, they will receive guidance and support from HZ coaches, ensuring a structured and effective approach to the projects.
The week is structured to include a variety of fun and meaningful workshops designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. These workshops cover various aspects of the project, from idea generation and prototyping to presentation techniques. But also fun and relaxing activities will be offered.
By the end of the week, each team will present their final outcomes to the client, showcasing their creative solutions and the hard work they have put in. This presentation not only provides a sense of accomplishment but also allows students to gain valuable feedback from industry professionals. The winners or best ideas chosen by the client will most likely also get a reward for their hard work.
'''Participating in the NRG Project Week is a unique and rewarding experience that enhances students' interdisciplinary collaboration skills, broadens their perspectives, and prepares them for future professional challenges. It is a week full of learning, creativity, and growth—definitely worthwhile to join.'''
The NRG project week this school year will take place in week 9 of block 2: 20-01-2025 until 25-01-2025
