Bob Romboud
After numerous years in companies Bob joined the HZ University of Applied Sciences in 1997. Bob was mainly teaching electronics, control systems and drive technology. In 2019 he joined the Delta Power research group. Bob is active in the research program around tidal energy. He is key in implementing the processes to control and measure the workings of bidirectional pump/turbines in the Delta Power lab where researchers simulate how such bidirectional pump/turbines would function in a barrier between for instance the North Sea and a lake like the Grevelingenmeer on the other hand. Also Bob is active in running and collaboratively expanding our HZ UAS Hydrogen Lab. In this lab Delta Power can educate students and inform interested stakeholders through demonstrating technology related to using green hydrogen.
